The Sixteenth Annual Snowdown Wine Tasting and Fine Art Exhibition will be held Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in Durango. This popular event, which is a part of Durango’s “Snowdown” winter festival, raises funds for La Plata Open Space Conservancy to protect open lands in Southwest Colorado.
Twelve original works of art celebrating local landscapes and wildlife will be auctioned at the event. Guests will receive a signed, limited edition print of Rebecca Koeppen’s pastel “Down in the Valley,” and additional prints may be purchased for $50.
Unable to attend? You’ll be missed, but you don’t have to miss out! We can arrange for a proxy to bid on selected artwork for you. Contact LPOSC at (970) 259-3415 or lposc@gobrainstorm.net to make arrangements.
