Annual Appreciation Picnic

Each year, Friends of Open Space gather for a family picnic and to show appreciation for contributions made in conserving cherished lands in our community.

Friends of Open Space enjoyed potluck dining at Zink Pond.

Fun and casual, LPOSC’s annual picnic brings conservation easement landowners and community members together to simply enjoy each other’s company. LPOSC also takes this opportunity to award its volunteer and stewardship of the year recipients.

Families filled boxes of fresh, heirloom potatoes to take home and enjoy after the picnic.

Picnic goers had the pleasure and hands-on experience of picking heirloom potatoes to take home with them.
